For Vendors
Vendor Listing Terms
The terms that apply to every business listed on Owambe Tribe.
1. Eligibility
To list your business on Owambe Tribe, you must be a legally operating wedding or events vendor in Nigeria, and the information you provide about your business must be accurate and something you have the authority to submit.
2. Listing Accuracy
- Provide truthful pricing, availability, service areas, and portfolio images.
- Keep your profile up to date — remove services you no longer offer and update pricing as it changes.
- Only use photos you own or have permission to use (see our Copyright Policy).
False claims or misrepresentation may result in listing suspension or removal.
3. Vetting & Verification
New listings go through a vetting review before appearing publicly, which may include checking business registration, portfolio authenticity, and past client references. A "Verified" badge indicates a vendor that has passed this review — it is not a guarantee of future performance.
4. Reviews & Ratings
- You may not post fake reviews, ask others to do so, or offer incentives in exchange for reviews.
- You may not pay to have negative reviews removed — see our Moderation Policy.
- You may dispute a review through your vendor dashboard if you believe it violates our Review Guidelines.
5. Client Communication
Respond to booking requests and messages in a timely and professional manner. All communication through the platform is expected to be respectful — harassment or abusive language toward brides is grounds for immediate suspension.
6. Fees & Subscriptions
Lead details, messaging, review responses, and full analytics are offered through Vendor Pro at the price shown on the public Pricing page at the time of purchase. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We'll always show the amount before a paid feature is billed.
7. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or remove a listing that violates these terms, receives credible reports of fraud, or is found to contain fabricated information. Where possible, we'll notify you and explain the reason before taking action.
8. Liability
Owambe Tribe is a discovery and review platform — we are not a party to the contract between you and your clients, and we are not liable for disputes over services rendered, payments, or event outcomes. Our advocacy team can help mediate, but final resolution is between vendor and client.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of your vendor listing after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
